Why so many people chose Cape Town as a language travel destination

For language travellers Cape Town got more and more popular during the last couple of years. It is not only a chance to perfect one’s English language skills, it is much more. It’s the way to get to know another country as well as its culture and language.

Cape Town is a very vibrant city and has a lot to offer to its residents and foreign visitors. With a population of about 5 million people it is the second largest city in South Africa and is located directly on the Atlantic Ocean. Cape Town enjoys a perfect Mediterranean climate, it is mild all year round and an especially attractive destination from November to March. It is a cosmopolitan city with a colourful and vibrant mix of many different cultures, religions and people.

Cape Town is the ideal location for almost any outdoor sport, including surfing, golfing, horseback-riding, whale-watching, shark-diving, bungee-jumping, beach-volleyball, etc.  With its world heritage sites such as Robben Island and its world famous attractions such as Table Mountain, Cape Town is regarded as one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the world. Its beaches, nice weather, nightlife and cultural attractions are the main reasons why so many people choose Cape Town as their favourite language travel destination.
