Finishing their German language courses with an official exam has become more and more popular among students in the past few years. Many of them want to go to university in Germany and start asking about the TestDaF exam dates as early as their first course week in level A1.
TestDaF is the most important language examination for entering German universities. KAPITO has been a licensed test centre since 2002; we prepare a large number of students for this exam in specific preparation courses.
The general German language exams for levels A1 to C1 are popular as well: the TELC exams can be taken at KAPITO every 8 weeks. In our Intensive Courses the students are ideally prepared for these exams.
Lately we have also experienced a surprisingly strong demand for vocational language exams, e.g. for the new exam Deutsch B2-C1 Medizin (for doctors).
For whatever reason language students want to take an exam, they should always keep an eye on the best preparation as well as on the necessary dates (of deadlines, exams and results) so they can complete their language courses successfully and without too much stress.
Hansgerd Schomacher is Managing Director of Kapito Sprachschule (school profile | www.kapito.com). The school is based in Muenster, Germany, and offers a variety of German language courses, including Exam preparation.
