Extra curricular activities: Frederik from Venezuela

Two years ago we had a student from Venezuela, Frederik Oldenburg, who was a sports journalist who wanted to improve his English for work.

So, when Dublin was in the national GAA final we went out with him and full video gear to do a report in English about the event.

Since then, Frederik has moved to Las Vegas and is now a sports reporting anchor for Telemundo, reporting in both Spanish and English.

When he got the job, he posted on Facebook about his appreciation for everything we did for him and how happy he is now with his new career and credits us with a large part of that!
